Eighty scientists from Regensburg, Erlangen and Würzburg presented their research progress and discussed new findings and future strategies with the international review board members. Young scientists, in particular, were encouraged to present their data and to discuss future strategies with the senior investigators and the international experts. After a 2-year COVID abstinence, the consortium reconvened in person in the relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere of the Tyrolean Alps for exciting progress reports and inspiring discussions on promising new concepts for the treatment of GVHD and the enhancement of GVL.
