Research Data Managment
The TRR 221 data infrastructure aims to promote data exchange between TRR 221 subprojects through FAIR data and supports project managers with quality assurance of TRR 221 data. Both research data and clinical data are stored and internally made available in accordance with our data management concepts.
Nextcloud
Research data management
For storing and exchanging *research data* we use the Nextcloud software, which has been set up on servers of the University of Wuerzburg. Members of the TRR 221 at all three sites can access data sets according to access rights granted by data owners. User registration (see Kontakt) is required.
Internal research data
Internal research data that has not (yet) been published is managed on a server within the University of Wuerzburg’s VPN:
https://www.gvhgvl.biozentrum.uni-wuerzburg.de/cloud/index.php
Published research data
Published TRR 221 research data are gathered on a server that is accessible from the Internet (no access to the University of Wuerzburg’s VPN needed) but user registration is required: Publications
Data management concept for research data
Research data generated within the TRR 221 is managed in compliance with our own [research data management plan](Link to RDM plan (PDF)).
The following SOPs apply to TRR 221 data generation:
– Bulk RNAseq data analysis SOP is here
– RNAseq data (Bulk, Chipseq and SingleCell) submision format is here
– Microarray data submisions format is here
Contact
For getting access to the research data servers or general inquiries about research data management, TRR 221 members should contact:

Bitcare
In cooperation with the company BITCARE, the TRR 221 integrates clinical data into a TRR 221 DIS research database. In particular, the DIS database automatically retrieves clinical data entered in Regensburg, Würzburg and Erlangen via the GvHD eRAP platform of the international MAGIC consortium.
